Each year, leading figures from Alexandria and Arlington gather to improve the odds for young children who are at serious risk for school failure. The Child and Family Network Centers’ (CFNC) 2010 Spring Benefit, will mark an important milestone: the start of CFNC’s 26th year!

Previous major event sponsors have included The Freddie Mac Foundation, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young, The CNA Corporation, BAE Systems, Land & Armaments and Capital One. Other previous distinguished guests have also included U.S. Senator-elect Mark Warner, Governor Tim Kaine, Senator John Warner, Congressman Jim Moran, Sheila Johnson and many more.

The Benefit represents an excellent opportunity for local businesses to gain visibility while supporting an award-winning organization. Sponsors will receive a variety of branding opportunities as well as recognition at the event. All proceeds will be used to support our programs, which prepare young children living in Northern Virginia’s toughest neighborhoods to enter kindergarten ready to achieve. Recognized as a national model, CFNC provides nearly 200 children and families with accredited preschool education, family support and health care services.

CFNC relies heavily on the generosity of foundations, corporations and individuals to sustain its programs. The real cost for a student to attend CFNC is $9,000. However, after CFNC receives funding from the City of Alexandria, Arlington County and the state, CFNC must still make up a difference of approximately $5000 in order to provide free preschool education to children living in poverty. We hope you will join us as a Benefit sponsor and allow our children to receive the preparation they need in order to succeed.
